Description: This woman wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on her left hand. Her hair is golden and curly. Her blue eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed black hat.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She plays an instrument quite well.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it, and a wedding ring on her right hand. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Banker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Cook, and she later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Description: She is in excellent shape and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joan grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. During her travels, Joan and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Joan discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Joan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and to reunite with her old friends

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his father before him.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
