His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His auburn hair is still thick. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Navigator but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She is a Maurezhi in disguise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Roger was born with his mother's beautiful face. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
