Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
