History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Matilda's homeland. Matilda decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Matilda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born into a rich family. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Knight. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to raise his children well

History: Gifted from a young age, Ida studied abroad. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
