History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her first spouse was a Engraver, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to be a barber again

History: Ernest was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Navigator and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his sister

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Human compassion; and further expansion of business
