She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and doesn't want to be a unemployed and was forced into it by her family

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
