History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Juliana reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
