History: Richard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Richard's homeland. Richard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His blonde hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
