When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Alexandre alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
