Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'6" when asserting himself. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Weaver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Matilda abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Diggory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Knight like his father before him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants revenge against brigands
