History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. He has worked as a Beggar like his mother before him.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Ida and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Matilda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Matilda. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
