Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thomas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: This man stands a little under 6'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is dressed in an above average manner. He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Carpenter who has hired him part-time. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.
