She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Helen decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Trym was born with his father's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
