She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Jacoba was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Adventurer for hire.
