Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Everard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Sybil was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
