History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many gnolls want him driven away
