History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Roland was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Tanner. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
