History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a Body Guard soon after.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Herleva never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
