History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
