Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He wears a blue coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. He is an epitome of beauty. His hair is brown and curly. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Assassin. He has achieved small success as a Assassin.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Assassin responsibilities is difficult; and to be a tanner again

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is renowned for his bright violet suits and hats. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Don hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and expand his business

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has wavy chestnut hair. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Ralf's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it, and is pretty ugly. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are blue and beady.
Personality: Shane is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Shane was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shane decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle
