History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Jacoba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bellfounder born in the past three hundred years. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again.

She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and her gloved hand is found clutching a warhammer. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sarah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
