History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

Personality: Heward hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
