History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Jane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Jane was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Elizabeth lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She became a Map Maker soon after.
