Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Adelard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a white coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon her head. She sports black long hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Bellfounder but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to end her boredom

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is greedy

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. She wears baggy yellow pantaloons and a brown scarf. She has a hunchback. With wild white hair. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and retire the richest woman in the north
