History: Born in the west to a Dilettante, Hugh learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has achieved small success as a Dilettante.

History: He was born into a rich family. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
