Personality: Richard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Laborer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: William was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He struck the Navigator job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born in a small island village. Sarah was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Sarah decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sellsword. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he wants revenge against giants
