Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Mary took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She became a Bookbinder soon after.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Dilettante. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
