History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
