Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Roger was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Shane was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Oriel has worked very hard to control her curse. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to share knowledge with the world
