History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Joan was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
