History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Performer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Margery and her spouse have recently divorced.
