History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Joan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She bought a longbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Unemployed who has hired him part-time. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Adam is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
