History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Servant. He has worked as a Servant like his father before him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Dyer like his mother before him.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

John was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shoemaker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
