History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student he started as a Weaver, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Laborer. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Priest. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
