When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Solomon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Matilda took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has worked as a Shepherd like her mother before her.
