History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Egelina was born with her father's beautiful face. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
