Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dean embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Jeweler, but he got bored and became a Gardener. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Armorer born in the past three hundred years. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to be a ploughman again

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Helen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again; and sabotage a competitor
