History: She was raised in a island tribe. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Avelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Avelina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
