History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melissa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Marshal. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To pay off her debts.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). During her travels, Isabella and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Isabella discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Isabella fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
