Description: 6'2" and muscular, this western man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Bernard was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Miller. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Ralf's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Painter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
