He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears a blue vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His violet leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his blue boots flare out at the collars. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 14. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Reynard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her ceremonial dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Juliana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After months of barely getting by, Alex managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
