History: Cory was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
