History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Cook for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
