She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mary grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Herleva embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Herleva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
