History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
