Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Matilda enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her first spouse was a Server, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She keeps her long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Susannah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
