History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Cory took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Katherine's homeland. Katherine decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
