Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Conrad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Conrad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.
