History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to be a carter again
