Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She is fixated on the number 79. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
